Labradoodle+goldendoodle=north american retreiver |
north american retreiver is a breeding between a labradoodle and goldendoodle
pioneered at lincoln manor labradoodles, these pups are gaining quickly in popularity. (google north american retreiver and see)
the golden doodle and labradoodle breeds are very similar, but the golden doodle tends to bring in a much softer coat as well as a calmer attitude and faster outgrowing of the rambunctious puppy stage. pups tend to have a stocky retreiver-like body with coats that are nice and fleecy.
the combination of these two breeds brings in an extra element of hybrid vigor while still maintaining the fabulous disposition, intelligence and loyalty of the golden retreiver, labrador retreiver and standard poodle. in a first generation cross, we get increased fertility, growth, mental stability and good health from the mating of two unrelated breeds.
mostly non-shedding dogs, pups coats are either wavy with very little shedding, poodle-like tight curls will see virtually no shedding and scruffy wire coats and smooth-flat coats will shed minimally.
the mixing of these three great breeds, all of which are consistently making the top ten smartest dog list, results in an obedient and social dog who will be devoted to his people all his life. friendly toward children, other dogs and cats and easy with strangers makes north americal retreivers the ideal family companion or service dog.
i have ultra-pale blondes, creams, apricots and fox-red reds. from smooth coated to curly, there will surely be one you fall in love with.
these pups will have received their first vaccination by my vet and a well puppy check and have been de-wormed and are flea-free. well established eating habits (feeding orijen puppy dry) and using piddle-pads means these guys are ready to be re-homed now.
i will be delivering pups to nanaimo on sunday january 11th. contact me to set up a time to view them in nanaimo and pick just the right tail-waggin' bundle of puppy love for you.

i have a blonde labradoodle sire with stunning green eyes and brown nose (out of a brown standard poodle sire and blonde lab dam) and also have 2 female goldendoodle females (out of blonde lab sire and apricot standard poodle dam)
one girl is very pale blonde and the other is a delicate shade of apricot. both have long wavy coats.
they each had their first litter of 9 pups, on the same day, for a total of 18 available puppies. coat colors range from almost white to deep apricot - a few could turn out to be reds. some wavy thick coated and some smooth coated like the labradoodle breed.
6 females and 12 boys. ( not sure of eye or nose color yet)
parents all have the typical standard poodle intelligence and obedience combined with the anxous to please devotion of labradors and eager to please, extremely loyal traits of the golden retreiver.
ready for their new homes at 8 weeks - january 20th '09 and will have their first shot plus de-worming done by my vet.
